Incubator of Zhongguancun (Yizhuang) International Robotics Industry Park launched

Updated: 2024-05-06

The launch of the incubator of the Zhongguancun (Yizhuang) International Robotics Industry Park and the enterprise entry signing ceremony took place in Beijing E-Town recently. Four robotics companies signed agreements to enter the incubator.

As the operator of the incubator, Li Zezhong, deputy general manager of the Beijing Yizhuang Robotics Technology Industry Development Co, explained that the incubator primarily targets startups and growing companies in the field of intelligent robots and the entire industrial chain, providing services such as entrepreneurship coaching, project roadshows, investment and financing, technology transfer, intellectual property, and policy consultation.

The plan is to expand the incubation area to 9,000 square meters within three years.

Li also revealed that, given the characteristics of the robotics industry, the incubator team is currently collaborating with the National Robotics Testing and Evaluation Center (headquarters) to establish a testing and evaluation center within the park.

"Once the center is established, it will provide a platform for product design and research and development for robotics manufacturing companies," Li added.

With the support of this third-party platform, the incubator aims to further enhance companies' independent R&D and innovation capabilities while directly reducing production costs, providing strong support for the overall development of robotics applications within the park.

At the event, representatives from four companies— RobStribe, NextVPU, Reach Technology, and Dxeforce— signed agreements with Xu Lixin, deputy general manager of the Zhongguancun (Yizhuang) International Robotics Industry Park.

These companies are involved in various aspects of robotics technology research, development, and application promotion, which are expected to further improve the robotics industry ecosystem.
