The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is being held at the National Convention Center and Shougang Park from Sept 2 to 7. 

The Global Service Trade Summit took place on Sept 2, while Beijing Day, theme exhibitions and other activities will be held from Sept 3 to 7. 

The Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) has gathered more than 300 companies to participate in the CIFTIS through online and offline means.

The cultural and tourism service exhibition area of the BDA has four sections: the main image area, the innovative IP areas, the technology and culture industry area, and the special exhibits of science and culture.

The exhibition not only shows the multidimensional collision of technology and art, but also includes rich interactive features, such as holographic imaging as well as multitouch and virtual reality displays.

In the exhibition area, a huge "soft" ring-shaped screen was the center of attention, as pictures of iconic street scenes, buildings, sculptures and parks in the BDA flowed around it.

"It's a Mobius ring made from BOE OLED flexible screens. This artwork expresses the BDA's unique culture and style," a staff member of the exhibition area said.

The naked-eye 3D effect of the LED screens on both sides of the door of the exhibition area also highlights the magic of technology.

Outside the exhibition area sits an esports stage, which will witness some exciting and fierce esports competitions as part of the fair. In addition, the science and technology hall of the exhibition space allows you to take a tour the BDA using VR glasses.

Meanwhile, the forum "Accelerating Transformation of Enterprises in the Digital Economy Era", which is co-sponsored by the BDA Enterprise Beijing Yizhuang Investment Holdings Limited and the Expert Committee of the CIFTIS, will raise its curtains on Sept 7, and see the signing and release of a number of projects.
